A message was received from a Mr. Steve Dovey who worked in Regional Headquarters.

He is one of three Administrators that run the British Gas Facebook Group. They have 1200 members together with thousands of photos on their site that may be of interest to our members. If any member would care to join they would be more than welcome.

A letter has been received from National Grid Pensions relating to changes in the way National Grid process all our member's contact details. They stress that due to data protection laws that they no longer provide REA committees with any changes to members details. Their message to us as an REA group is as follows :-

'If you move house or change your personal or contact details, that is your name, home address, telephone number or your email address, please make sure that you let your REA branch committee know, as well as making UK Pensions Operations aware. In this way we can keep in touch and share with you latest news, as well as information about forthcoming branch events and activities.'

Lincoln REA have, for some time, made members aware of the above in our Newsletters etc. but I've included the  instruction on this page as a reminder.
